The location was perfect for exploring the area and we enjoyed walks right from the doorstep. the upstairs kitchen/diner/lounge area was a highlight, offering a cozy space to unwind. the woodburner was a lovely touch during the winter evenings, adding to the charm of the property. I appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the convenience of WiFi, especially since phone signal was limited. the complimentary parking was a bonus, making it easy to come and go as we pleased. Overall, Riven Oak provided a comfortable and relaxing stay, with all the amenities we needed for a memorable getaway. As someone who enjoys outdoor activities like cycling and fishing, the proximity to these attractions was a big plus. the garden was a lovely spot to relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings. Kendal is a charming town with plenty to offer, and the easy access to nearby attractions like the World of Beatrix Potter and Trough of Bowland made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Riven Oak to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient accommodation in the area, and I look forward to returning in the future.
